Masterplan

The clients desired an exterior living room that would reflect their love for entertaining and extend the living space of the house into the garden.

The transition from house to landscape was fragmented by a shallow porch and steps. Removing this porch and replacing it with wide stone steps allowed for a graceful flow between inside and out. The bluestone terrace edged with boxwood and pleached hornbeam provides ample space for dining and entertaining.

The plant palette provides structure to the garden and includes species particularly beloved by the clients, bringing a truly personal feel to the space.
